The product is extracted from the stems and branches of Epimedium breviconum Maxim.Epimedium pubescens Maxim or Epimedium sagittatum(Sieb.Et Zucc)Maxim which belonging to Dicotyledon.
Description:
Acrid,sweet and mild with the appearance of light yellow aciculae crystal. The active ingredient is Icariin. The chemical formula is C33H40O15, and Molecular weight 676.65.MP is 231~232℃,[α] ²º-92º.
Pharmacology function:
Enhancing kidney&male genitals,dispelling wing&damp,anti-impotence&premature ejaculation, anti-urnating incontinence,anti-wind&damp arthralgia,anti-chronic ache of waist&leg,anti-coronary heart disease,anti-neurasthenic,treating the decrease of the white cells,anti-bronchial asthma,anti-hypertension during menopause,anti-chronic tracheitis,and anti-chronic prostatitis,etc.
