Application: widely used in drinks and other food sour agent, for Wine, soft drinks, candy, bread, some jelly sweets. The optical activity using chemical resolution, as agent, used in the manufacture of splitting the anti TB drugsintermediate DL- 2-amino butanol; also can be used as raw material for the synthesis of chiral tartaric acid derivative; using the acid as catalyst, polyester fabric resin finishing, PH regulator oryzanol production; use of the complexing,used in electroplating, desulfurization, acid washing and chemical analysis,pharmaceutical inspection of complexing agent, masking agent, chelating agent,dyeing and printing of resist; use of its reduction, reducing agent is used as thechemical silvering. Photographic developer. Also with a variety of metal ioncomplexation, can be used for cleaning and polishing the surface of metal.
